Grup de traball de les ecologies híbrides del Delta del Llobregat

El Grupo de Trabajo sobre las Ecologías Híbridas del Delta del Llobregat es un colaboratorio de investigación transdisciplinar que promueve proyectos de creación, mediación y experimentación artística situados en el delta del Llobregat, en el área metropolitana de Barcelona. El grupo está compuesto por el investigador, comisario y profesor universitario Christian Alonso, la artista y profesora de educación secundaria Vicky Benítez, el educador y especialista en arte comunitario Eduardo Ruiz, la artista, investigadora y profesora universitaria Chiara Sgaramella, y el artista sonoro y profesor universitario Ferran Lega. Para perseguir la sostenibilidad multiespecie en el frágil territorio del delta del Llobregat es necesario superar los puntos ciegos de los discursos tecnocráticos y desarrollistas para reconsiderar la vida urbana desde un enfoque menos antropocéntrico. De ahí que el Grupo se centre en la construcción de narrativas que resulten de una especial atención hacia las complejas formas de vida más que humanas que habitan el Delta, y de la creación de relatos que faciliten nuevas formas de entendimiento, relación y responsabilidad compartida.

The Working Group on the Hybrid Ecologies of the Llobregat Delta is a transdisciplinary research collaboratory that promotes projects of artistic creation, mediation and experimentation situated in the Llobregat delta in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The group is composed by researcher, curator and university lecturer Christian Alonso, artist, gardener and secondary education teacher Vicky Benítez, community art practitioner and educator Eduardo Ruiz, artist, university researcher and lecturer Chiara Sgaramella, and sound artist and university lecturer Ferran Lega. In order to pursue multispecies sustainability in the fragile territory of the Llobregat delta it is necessary to move beyond the blind spots of  technocratic discourses and reconsider urban life from a less anthropocentric approach. Hence the Group focuses on the construction of narratives that result from paying attention to the complex more-than-human life forms that inhabit the Delta, and weaving stories that facilitate new forms of understanding, relationship and shared responsibility.
